I wiped the "green" dye with a paper towel that had freshly wiped a yellow dye, as a way of tricking it to be a green again.

See the crack running almost the whole length of the egg? When I manage to finish last spring's batch of eggs, (I'm finally down to nine plain shells remaining), I can start harvesting Organic Eggs. Hopefully, they will have stronger shells as advertised and there'll be less of those cracks.
