November: Spiral Madness Egg

I thought the spirals on the Crazy Quilt egg looked so cool, I decided to do an entirely spiraled egg.

The light blue dye jar had rusted shut - over the weekend! I did get it open. My hands are still blue as I write this. The light blue looked really purple, and I was hoping for the color contrast between the blues on the University of Fishes egg. The contrast isn't strong enough to stand out from the busy design.

That blobby lump was an imperfection in the egg. I hoped perhaps the spirals would help disguise it. No such luck.
