Tea Egg: Basic Design

My first Ukranian Egg, ever.

Pretty decent, eh? if I'd kept at it, I might have a really steady hand by now.

Love that 20/20 hindsight.

I did the early eggs without emptying them first (and they've survived 12 years so far). Hence, I couldn't impale them on any sort of stand for the photos. I first tried a stand of 3 upturned pushpins. It worked for other eggs, but the full eggs were too heavy. I resorted to a tiny brandy glass mom had kicking around.
